This has got to be the internet’s most D-listed feud ever this year. And to add to that, it’s not even true.
Everyone on the internet knows who Gypsy Rose Blanchard is—an American ‘activist’ who was guilty of second-degree murder for the death of her mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. She served eight years in prison and had just been released on parole in December 2023.
Since her release from prison, Gypsy Rose Blanchard has become somewhat of a viral sensation on the Internet and has gained about 8.3 million followers on Instagram. She has been religiously posting about her and her husband, Ryan Anderson, as well as the documentaries and works about her life, motivational quotes she lives by, and about Factitious Disorder imposed on another (or Munchausen syndrome by proxy)—the mental health disorder her mother was suspected to have.
On January 19, 2024, however, Gypsy Rose and reality TV personality Natalie Nunn both went viral after a number of screenshots of their alleged conversations went online. The messages showed Gypsy Rose was supposedly offered by Natalie Nunn to host a “Baddies” reunion, which the former had denied.

The screenshots were shared on Gypsy Rose’s unverified Facebook page. The images later showed Nunn asking Gypsy Rose to take down the screenshots of their messages on their page, to which the latter said, “Thanks but no thanks, this is my platform and I decide what to do with it. I already said thank you to the offer just move on please.”
Natalie was said to have responded by saying, “B**** you better stop posting s-t online before you see me in real life.” Gypsy Rose refused to do so and later on, said, “You will be blocked. Either worry about your show or I’ll hit the block button. Have a nice day.”
Soon after the screenshots started spreading online, Natalie Nunn took to her Instagram account to deny that the whole interaction ever happened. She posted a screenshot of her and the actual Gypsy Rose’s conversation—where the latter explained that the person behind the Facebook account wasn’t her at all.
“Hi Natalie, so I saw a few new TikToks that I want to bring to your attention,” started Blanchard. “So this is my verified Instagram. And I believe you were talking to a fake Gypsy account. I have no idea what all was said between you and this Gypsy impersonator but I apologize for anything that misrepresented me.”
She ended by saying, “Rule of thumb for everyone if it isn’t verified don’t trust it girl.”
Natalie responded that she wasn’t at all involved in the conversation and that someone had also created a fake account and was pretending to be her. “I never messaged but hope all is well.”
Additionally, Nunn also posted an Instagram story writing, “Attention social media if it’s not on my page…please stop believing all the fake gossip.” She also said, “I just caught up on IG. Y’all saying I been talking to this Gypsy girl…my last post is the only messages we have ever had which was this morning!”
Nunn ended by saying, “Anyways yall carry on with the gossip I got big meetings in LA today!”
So basically, that whole thing was fake and people on the Internet just keep wasting their time. Just like us talking about this– days after it happened.
