The heartfelt indie folk song ‘Leaves’ by Ben&Ben has recently been trending in South Korean music charts.
The local band has been attracting the attention of a number of K-pop stars, with GOT7’s Bambam being the latest Ben&Ben stan.
During one of his VLive sessions, a fan recorded the moment when Bambam was seen listening to ‘Leaves’.

It seems like Bambam connected to the song as he expressed his interest in learning more about the Filipino indie band. He even says that he will be adding the song to his playlist.
As it went viral on social media, Ben&Ben eventually got hold of the clip and tagged GOT7’s Twitter account to thank Bambam for playing their music.
The tweet has garnered over 12,000 retweets and 40,000 likes as of writing.
It’s definitely heartwarming to see two great Asian artists coming together to support each other. It goes to show how music can bring together people from different cultures.
The band is also known for their appreciation of K-pop after covering several songs on BBTV, their new YouTube series.
