K-Pop band SEVENTEEN donates to youth in need on 5th anniversary

We always need more kindness in this world, especially during these unprecedented times, and it’s heartwarming to see our idols sharing love and kindness to those who need it most.

In celebration of their fifth anniversary, k-pop boy band SEVENTEEN recently donated to children and adolescents in need by way of educational mentoring for the children of multicultural families, scholarships, and through cultural and arts education programs.

SEVENTEEN celebrated their anniversary the best way possible—to inspire people. “May 26 is a very meaningful day to us, and as much as we are spending time with our fans, Carats, we want to share the love from them as well as our hearts so that there can be more people chasing their dreams.”

The group inspires people indeed—SEVENTEEN’s fans reportedly donated funds for COVID-19 relief efforts in honor of the k-pop band’s anniversary.

The k-pop idols have always been known for their advocacy with children, and during their last two anniversaries, they donated to the regional center for children in Eunpyeong district and participated in a campaign that ensures safe housing rights for children.
