Self-confessed drink expert creates special pillow for beer lovers

Many of us probably believe that any day would be a good day for a beer, right? Well, a study from Indiana University shows that the taste of beer can trigger the human body to produce dopamine which makes you feel good. This even applies to the lightest flavor in your beer selection.

Given the “good vibes” the beverage gives us, a man named Phil from the Beer Goals brewery in Los Angeles, California created a DIY invention that will surely delight beer lovers who enjoy drinking while lying down. He called it the beer pillow.

Last February 3, the self-confessed beer expert posted a YouTube video that shows how he devised this unique pillow. The video description reads: “BEER PILLOW. Our new #BeerGoals is to create a #BeerPillow to drink a beer in the middle of the night, all night long. Beer Goals will show you how to have the ultimate brew night sleep.”

All you need to do is fill up the 2-gallon ziplock bag with your favorite beer by pouring it in the plastic bag.  After that, seal it correctly and then, insert the plastic bendy straw to start drinking.

“For in the middle of the night when you get a little bit thirsty and you want something a little bit stronger than water—Beer pillow!” he said in the video.

He further explained that the beer foam makes the pillow fluffier.

Aside from the beer pillow, he also thinks that a beer-filled bed would also work out well someday.

As of the moment, Phil continues to pursue his beer-related dreams. When he launched Beer Goals, he had the aim of drinking 50 beers from each of the 50 states (including the District of Columbia)–and that’s a total of 2550 beers. While drinking these variants, he will also be providing insightful comments on the drink.

However, he always reminds everyone to “drink well and drink safe!”
