One of the major benefits of online shopping is that it allows consumers to purchase items from the comforts of their homes. However, the transaction is not always as smooth as what you might expect it to be since the products we usually order online are either defective or delayed.
Despite the many reasons to quit online shopping, we always seem to go back to our usual habits: scroll, add to cart, purchase, repeat. And no matter how many times we get disappointed with the wrong items, the experience still leaves us dumbfounded—just like this pair of fake AirPods from Amazon.
Reported by Mirror UK, a woman from Dubai shared her recent purchase from Amazon, which was a £50-worth of fake Apple AirPods (or Php3,148.00). From the very moment she ordered her AirPods, she knew she would get fake ones. But when the box arrived, she suddenly wondered why the box was bigger than what she had expected.
And by “bigger,” we meant this. The size of a human’s head.
On Twitter, Aleezay captioned her post: “So today I received my AirPods from Amazon. God these are huge.” Instead of getting annoyed, she even joked about it by saying, “Most of you saying hairdryer, but I think it’s eardryer.” Since posting, the photo has gained over 384,600 likes and 71,900 retweets with online users asking about whether the AirPods are for giants or elephants.
Although Aleezay hasn’t given us any update on her using her newly-purchased earphones, we are hoping that they could blast music like stereos.
