WATCH: Online tutorials teach you to how to draw your favorite animated characters

Have you ever watched a Disney film and wondered how animators draw these characters? Well, in a new set of videos released by Disney Parks, anyone can learn how to draw their favorite animated icons from Disney artist Stephen Ketchum himself.

According to Thomas Smith’s article in the Disney Parks blog, Ketchum has been “drawing Mickey at Disney Parks for years and has expert tips for artists of all skill levels”–making him the ideal teacher for these online classes.

The artist has since posted a video on YouTube for drawing tutorials on Mickey, Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear, and Queen Anna from Frozen.

Here is a sample of one of the tutorials:

Also, Disney isn’t the only production house that chose to create video tutorials. Animation studio Nickelodeon has also enlisted its artists to provide drawing sessions to its viewers. On its Facebook page Nickelodeon Animation, the artists share a how-to guide on sketching your favorite characters.

In this particular episode, they teach online users how to draw Lynn Loud:
