To celebrate Mother’s Day, travel website offers 2021 travel giveaway for mom-child duo

On every second Sunday of May, Mother’s Day is celebrated around the world to honor, love, and respect the incredible women who not only gave birth to us but also continuously inspire us to pursue our dreams.

And there are a thousand ways to celebrate this special day. This includes activities like giving a phone call, bringing fresh flowers, baking a cake, or making a homemade gift for her. But if you’re planning to make a big surprise for your mom, Stride Travel has a very special offer for you!

This year, Stride Travel, a travel website for global trips, is offering a unique Mother’s Day trip giveaway. According to the site, anyone can join the contest to get the chance to win a free trip with his/her mom to any country in the world in 2021–though, this is subject to the location’s safety.

In an interview with Travel & Leisures, CEO of Stride Travel Gavin Delany shared that the contest has two purposes, “to celebrate the women who have raised and inspired us and to provide those with a love of travel a mental reprieve and opportunity to dream and indulge right now.”

So, how you can participate in the free travel giveaway?

Simply, create a one-minute video on Facebook showing your gratitude and appreciation to your mom. You must highlight the reasons as to why you think she’s awesome and how she inspired you to love traveling and adventures. You must also place what country is your dream destination to travel to with your mom.

There will be 10 winners who will earn an additional $100 (Php 5,000) travel credit, depending on the number of likes they get on their post. Participants must also use the hashtag #MomDeservesTheWorld and tag the official Stride Travel page (@stridetravel) to enter.

The grand prize is an international trip for two (2) people (must be a mother-child duo) at any time in 2021.
