If there’s one thing that this community quarantine has told us, it’s that when people are in isolation, they start becoming more creative. People from all around the world have taken to social media to share their at-home artistic approaches. Whether that’d be their recreation of iconic paintings using household supplies or the invention of “signature” dishes using everyday food items, these individuals continue to entertain themselves (and the internet) with their creative and positive outlook to self-isolation.
This time around, a new quarantine trend is taking over the internet and it involves using pillows, bedsheets, and blankets as “couture”.
Dubbed as the #pillowchallenge or the #pillowdresschallenge by many Instagram users, this trend invites people at home to create their best outfit using bedroom linen sets and pillows. The results of this challenge have left many of us laughing out loud.
One of the funnier entries is that of dancer Conor Mckenzie, who strutted his bedsheet gown in various styles.
“Me going to the fridge 87 times a day. CATEGORY IS: SELF ISOLATION SERVE. Y’all, I’m so proud. I made all of these looks using one blanket!” he wrote on his Instagram post.
Other notable entries come from these online users–who we think nailed the challenge completely!
One person even did the challenge in full protective gear!
As far as online challenges go, we’re pretty happy with the effects of this one. Keep the work from home couture designs coming!
