Recently, we’ve been plagued by a continuous stream of bad news. From the rising COVID-19 cases around the world to the blatant misuse of power in our country, it seems like we can’t get a break from the negativity surrounding us.
Thankfully, however, more celebrities and prominent figures are turning to social media to brighten up our days. In fact, just last month, A Quiet Place actor John Krasinski shared that he will be creating a YouTube channel dedicated to sharing good news. This time around, Robert Irwin–son of the late Steve Irwin–decided to share positive vibes by tweeting this photo of him and his “self-isolation buddy”.

This picture was taken last March 31 at the family’s Australia Zoo. According to Robert’s mom Terri, the creature beside her son is a “gorgeous Aldabra tortoise” that can be adopted on their website. And seriously who wouldn’t want to take in this tortoise–that reptilian smile is just too much for online users!
This was not the only thing Robert Irwin shared on his Twitter account while in self-isolation. The 16-year-old also shared photos of himself with a cute puppy and images of their Sumatran tiger Nelson.
