In support of the Global Goals and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Global Institute for Youth Development, alongside with City Government of Puerto Princesa through its Youth Development Office, will conduct the upcoming 2019 National Young Leaders’ Conference (#NYLC2019) this November 22-26, 2019 at the City Coliseum in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines.
First held in 2017, the National Young Leaders’ Conference (NYLC) is the flagship initiative of the Global Institute for Youth Development, wherein it is an avenue to equip next-generation grassroots leaders with practical knowledge and necessary competencies to effectively spearhead in sustainable development initiatives.
With the theme: “#SDGeneration: Acting towards Social, Economic and Environmental Sustainability by 2030”, this year’s program installment features new, revised, and improved program components to maximize the youth’s capability in contributing to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on their respective communities. This year, the 2019 National Young Leaders’ Conference will be held at “Eco-Tourism Center of the Philippines”, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan!
