Justin Roiland, co-creator and voice actor of the hit cartoon Rick and Morty, just announced via Twitter that the show has been renewed for 70 more episodes by Adult Swim.

Dan Harmon, the show’s other creator, expressed how happy he is with the news in an interview with GQ.
“I’m ecstatic. Rick and Morty is definitely the most freeing, most fun thing I’ve ever worked on, ” Harmon said. “Now the deal is closed and it’s official, so I can finally actually breathe and be as excited as I’ve wanted to be,” he added.
However, the creators also stated that they have not started any work for Season 4 yet, so it may take a while before fans can watch new episodes of the hit show.
