For more than 25 years, One Piece has captured audiences worldwide with its stories of adventure, friendship, and the pursuit of dreams. This November, Filipino fans will have a unique opportunity to experience that world with the One Piece Music Symphony, the official concert for the renowned anime.
Presented by Film Concerts PH, the production will take place on November 8 and 9 at The Theatre at Solaire. The film concert features over 60 musicians from the Filharmonika Orchestra performing Kohei Tanaka’s acclaimed score, accompanied by high-definition visuals from the anime projected on a big screen. The concert brings together the anime’s most memorable moments and the music that brought them to life.

For longtime followers to the series, the concert serves as a nostalgic trip through the series’ defining moments, while for those new to the franchise, it offers highlights of the Straw Hat Crew’s journey from their earliest voyages to their latest battles. The Manila shows will feature fan-favorite pieces, such as “Haha naru Umi” (Mother Sea), “Sekai no ichiban oden da!!” (This is the best oden in the world!!), and “Ore no saikouchiten” (Luffy’s Gear 5 Theme), along with new arrangements and the latest opening theme, “UUUUUS!”. Each piece evokes a different chapter of the Straw Hat Crew’s journey, allowing listeners to relive the emotions that have made One Piece one of the most popular anime series of all time.
Since premiering in 2013, One Piece Music Symphony has toured internationally, including the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the Philharmonie in Paris, and the Beijing Workers’ Stadium, earning praise for its blend of orchestral music and anime storytelling. It remains the only official One Piece concert licensed by Toei Animation and produced in partnership with Kohei Tanaka.
Beyond celebrating One Piece, the film concert also reflects the growing appetite for live, multimedia entertainment. Around the world, symphonic experiences inspired by movies, anime, and video games have captivated diverse audiences who seek something more immersive than a traditional concert or screening experience. In the Philippines, Film Concerts PH has been at the forefront of this movement since its establishment in 2024, introducing shows that bring famous stories to life through live orchestral performance.
With One Piece Music Symphony, Film Concerts PH aims to create an experience where entertainment, music, and fandom intersect. The show celebrates the enduring story of One Piece and how its music continues to connect audiences across generations.
