Eight-year-old Giana has a knack for anything related to art and fashion. She showed exceptional drawing skills when she was three, and started to design her own clothes with the encouragement from her parents.
Afterwards, she began to incorporate cutouts from her mom’s fashion magazine collection to create her artworks. These cutouts are high-end fashion ads that help her reimagine and transform into art. She adds her own style by using freehand techniques and various mediums. This greatly helped Giana hone her skills.
The Filipino-Mexican creator caught the attention of MÊME, a clothing brand for kids. This led to her first solo art exhibit in Seattle last November. The exhibit featured 40 different artworks that she drew by freehand. But that’s not all, her outstanding creativity led to apparel collaborations with kidswear brands, MÊME and Haus of JR. Now she also has her own fashion line!
With the rate that she’s going and her amazing talent, Giana will definitely become the next big thing to watch out for in the art and fashion industry. Keep it up, Lil’ G!
