EXO’s Suho sets Manila as his second home for his ‘Welcome to SU:HOME’ 2024 Asia Tour

Kim Jun-myeon, famously known as Suho, the leader of the South Korean boy band “EXO” returned to the Philippines and welcomed EXO-Ls and Bunnyzens to their temporary home last June 22, 2024 at the Big Dome for his “Welcome to SU:HOME” 2024 Asia Tour.

It all started when he had previously invited his Filipino fans to come join him and his band as they returned to Manila for a one-night engagement.

Welcome to SU:HOME Manila leg kicked off with an opening VCR that led to Suho’s first four songs that showcased different songs from his three mini-albums. Fans were mesmerized by the set and performances, as it shows Suho’s artistry and background in theater, which is also evident in his stage designs.

It is to no surprise that the Manila leg for “Welcome to SU:HOME” was held as his first Asia stop after Seoul, his homeland. Delving into Suho’s first interactive ment with his fans, he delightedly recalled the last country he visited before his 2024 Asia Tour. Guess what? It was still in Manila for his “On Festival OFF: Manila” appearance. The South Korean singer-songwriter and actor believes that destiny has played its part that both his last and first overseas trips in the last 7 months were to Manila.

EXO-Ls and Bunnyzens were treated not just to live performances from Suho’s different albums, as he and his band have also staged their own renditions of some of EXO’s popular hits including “The First Snow,” “Growl,” “Obsession,” and “Monster,” that really hyped the crowd which turned the Big Dome as indeed, Suho’s home (SU:HOME) that night with his fans.

As the stage is about to draw to a close, Suho graced the stage with a short performance of “Love You More Gradually,” which happens to be the original soundtrack of “Missing Crown Prince,” his latest K-Drama, further hyping up the fans enough to get Suho and his band back to do an encore of “Made In You.”

Kim Jun-myeon ended the night with a promise to return to Manila with the whole EXO group and even stated the possibility of returning as EXO Suho again. He also acknowledged his bandmates and called one-by-one from his guitarists, keyboardist, to his drummer for a short message, which led the way to end the show with a bow to show their sincerest gratitude to all attendees.
