Megan Fox responds to ‘Love Is Blind’ comparison: ‘No one deserves to get bullied’

The ‘Love Is Blind’ buzz reached new heights when Chelsea Blackwell, a contestant on the hit reality show, likened herself to Hollywood star Megan Fox. Now, as the internet buzzes with debates over the comparison, Megan Fox herself has spoken out.

Blackwell’s revelation to her ex-fiancé, Jimmy Presnell, about being frequently compared to a certain celebrity, later revealed to be Fox, sparked both excitement and skepticism. Despite Blackwell’s attempt to downplay the resemblance, Presnell’s reaction was one of astonishment: “Megan Fox? You’re saying you look like Megan Fox.”

As the show progressed and the truth about Blackwell’s appearance unfolded, Presnell expressed feeling misled, specifically mentioning the Megan Fox comparison. However, amidst the speculation and debate, Fox herself has now addressed the matter.

In an interview with E News, Fox revealed the flood of messages she received about the Love Is Blind moment, acknowledging the striking resemblance between herself and Blackwell. “I’ve never had more people text me about something because I don’t really watch TV very much,” Fox admitted. “But I’ve had a lot of people text me and stop me. Even other celebrities at like Oscar parties were like, ‘Do you watch Love is Blind?’ And I was like, ‘No, but I know what you’re talking about.”

Fox not only recognized the likeness between herself and Blackwell but also took a firm stance against online criticism. “I didn’t watch it, but I think in general, no one deserves to get bullied,” she asserted. “I don’t think she deserved that. I think people went way too hard.”

Expressing empathy towards Blackwell’s experience, Fox emphasized the importance of maintaining one’s spirit amidst public scrutiny. “I hope like she still has that sparkle in her eye. I hope the world didn’t steal it from her,” Fox stated, reflecting on her own experiences of enduring years of bullying.

Following the airing of that specific episode, Blackwell took to TikTok to address the mixed reactions herself in a video. Despite the whirlwind of attention, her confidence remained relentless, echoing Fox’s sentiments about resilience in the face of scrutiny.
