BABYMONSTER to finally debut in November 2023

BLACKPINK’s sister-group is finally debuting.

On October 10, 2023, YG Entertainment shared the debut teaser photo for BABYMONSTER on their social media accounts, immediately building up the hype for the girl group’s debut in November.

On the same day, a representative from YG Entertainment explained the reason for the delay of BABYMONSTER’s debut, which was initially announced to be in September 2023. “We paid careful attention in selecting the title track in order to repay with the best result. Consequently, the [girl group’s] debut was slightly delayed from September as we originally informed, and we ask for [fans’] understanding.”

The rep also added that the preparations for the comeback were “now complete,” and that once BABYMONSTER debuts in November, “they will continue going forward at full speed, so please show lots of interest.” BABYMONSTER is said to be practicing the choreography for their title track, and will be filming their MV at the end of October.

BABYMONSTER’s fans who have watched them since their reality show, “Last Evaluation,” have all but given up their support for them. With their debut month now finally cemented, fans are now building up their anticipation and expectations for the girls’ debut.

BABYMONSTER is comprised of 7 members hailing from 3 different countries– members Ahyeon, Haram, and Rora are from South Korea, Pharita and Chiquita from Thailand, and Ruka and Asa from Japan. The seven were selected and formed in the show “Last Evaluation” which premiered in 2023, and released their pre-debut track, “DREAM” following its finale episode.
