The UP Economics Society presents the National Economics Summit (NES) 2023 “Navigating an Interconnected World: Exploring Global Economics Through the Filipino Lens.”
On September 9, 2023, at the University of the Philippines Diliman, 200 of the nation’s most distinguished students, scholars, and professionals will convene at the premier youth-led summit to contextualize global economic events in order to discern the country’s current state and trajectory.
Throughout the years, NES has cemented its status as a trailblazing summit with the aim of educating the youth on relevant societal issues through an economic lens. The Summit focuses on insightful and thought-provoking discussions, a broadened global outlook and real-world relevance, and the opportunity for personal and professional development.

This 2023, the National Economics Summit is co-presented by Unilever and Samsung and officially endorsed by the Philippine Competition Commission, the Department of Finance (DOF), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the UP School of Economics (UPSE), the Junior Economics Society (JPES), and the UP School of Economics Student Council.
