ASUS and nonprofit organization Communities Organized for Resource Allocation (CORA) announced the ASUS x CORA Mall Caravan today as part of their advocacy for sustainability and raising awareness about the necessity of a circular economy in helping to conserve the environment.

From August 12 to 27, 2023, the mall caravan will be held every weekend in participating malls around Metro Manila. Filipino consumers can visit the ASUS x CORA Mall Caravan in the following locations during mall hours:

SM Megamall – August 12-13, 2023
SM North EDSA – August 19-20, 2023
SM Mall of Asia – August 26-27, 2023

CORA Eco-Ikot Center pop-up booths

During the caravan, ASUS Concept Stores will feature pop-up Eco-Ikot Centers in collaboration with CORA, where store visitors may bring recycled, clean, dry, flattened, and clear plastic bottles in exchange for ASUS and CORA merchandise. Each visitor needs to donate at least two plastic bottles (a maximum of ten bottles per person) to get a chance to win exciting prizes. During each leg of the caravan, ASUS and CORA will also have numerous booth activities in store.

CORA is a nonprofit organization that creates inclusive programs focusing on the world’s most pressing social and environmental issues, such as hunger, marine pollution, and climate change. Founded by Antoinette Taus in 2016, who helped launch ASUS’ most sustainable Zenbook yet, ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED, CORA has impacted the lives of thousands of Filipinos in vulnerable communities. CORA’s Eco-Ikot Center is an inclusive and holistic circular economy system that allows communities to exchange recyclables for “points,” which can be redeemed for various incentives. The first of its kind in the Philippines, and the world, CORA’s “Eco-Ikot Center” provides a sustainable solution to the plastic pollution crisis.

CORA Founder and Executive Director Antoinette Taus will also be at the mentioned malls at 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on August 13, 20, and 26, 2023, to receive the recyclables mallgoers will donate.
