On July 6, at SM Skydome in Quezon City, You Me at Six finally made their way back to Manila. Back in 2014, the post-hardcore band headlined the Bazooka Rocks 3 event as part of PULP Live World in the Philippines, marking their first-ever performance in the country.
The vocalist, Josh Franceschi, along with guitarists Chris Miller and Max Heyler, bassist Matt Barnes, and drummer Dan Flint, were welcomed by the crowd to thunderous cheers and screams. And, of course, the audience sang along to every word of the band’s songs.
You Me at Six is known for its captivating music style, energetic live performances, and ability to blend various genres such as alternative rock, pop punk, and post-hardcore. With their distinct sound and impressive discography, You Me at Six has made a significant impact in the music industry and continues to be recognized as one of the prominent bands in the alternative rock scene.
The band released their album, “Truth Decay,” which was also adopted as the title for their tour, on February 10th of this year.
