WOODZ proves yet again why he’s an all-rounder artist during his ‘OO-LI’ concert in Manila

Filipino fans of South Korean singer-songwriter Woodz had the time of their lives during the latter’s “OO-LI” concert in Manila at the New Frontier Theater on June 17.

Accompanied by his talented band, Woodz, who goes by the real name Cho Seung-youn, set the stage on fire with energetic dance choreography and of course, his insane live vocals.

One thing the South Korean all-rounder performer made sure of throughout the entirety of his “OO-LI” concert was to make sure his fans were having a blast by asking them to stand up multiple times, ask his Filo Moodz to sing along (which they do deliver) and jump and dance with him.

Performing some of his hit songs such as “Busted,” “Love Me Harder,” “Abyss,” “BUMP BUMP,” and fan favorite “Drowning,” his Filo Moodz indeed had a night to remember.

Woodz also treated his fans by singing “Pool,” NewJeans’ hit song “Hype Boy,” and surprised his Filo Moodz with a cover of Parokya ni Edgar’s “Your Song (My One and Only).”

The fans of Woodz were not the only ones surprised as they pulled a touching fan project featuring Filo Moodz from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, sharing their love and appreciation for the “Multiply” singer.

After watching the video prepared by his fans, Woodz said it “made him realize a lot of things,” one of them being his journey as an artist, which he said “deeply touched his heart.”

Also, ICYDK, Woodz lived in the Philippines for a year to learn English, so to say he understands a little Tagalog would be an understatement. He asked his fans to say: “Kalusugan, kasiyahan, mahalin mo sarili mo,” during the last ment of his concert as he vows to return to the Philippines again.

“Thank you, guys. I will come back, I promise you. Until I come back, please always be healthy and always be happy,” he said during his closing ment. /bd
