Cha Eun Woo posts song cover in honor of late bandmate Moonbin

Member of K-Pop group ASTRO, Cha Eun Woo, posted a song cover of 10cm’s “Stalker” in honor of his late bandmate, Moonbin, who passed away last month.

“Stalker” was known among AROHA’s (ASTRO’s fandom name) as Moonbin’s favorite song.

Prior to the posting of the video, Cha shared a clip on his Instagram stories of him taking a polaroid photo of Moonbin while the idol is singing the same song he covered with the caption “My friend” – this is followed by the polaroid photos of him and Moonbin during that night.

Moonbin was found dead in his home on April 19 at the age of 25, with initial reports saying he took his own life.

The video, posted on YouTube on May 30 at exactly 2:23 AM (KST), and corresponding with the debut date of the group (February 23), garnered sympathy and made AROHAs emotional:

Cha made his first appearance after the passing of Moonbin last May 23, when he was named as the new Public Relations Ambassador of the Year Visit of South Korea for the period 2023-2024.

He’ll be coming to the country on July 2, 2023.
