IVE completely delights in a concept change for ‘Kitsch’ music video

Our own carefree nineteen’s kitsch~

South Korean girl group IVE dropped their pre-release single, “Kitsch” as well as the track’s music video on March 27, 2023, at 6 P.M. KST. This signals in the girl group’s new era, leading up to their first studio album, “I’ve IVE” which is set for release on April 10, 2023.

“Kitsch” is described on Soompi as a track that “allows listeners to feel IVE’s elegance, combining various bouncy sounds to deliver an electrifying delight.” The song’s rap lyrics were written by members Gaeul and Rei. The track’s music video sees the girl group members in matching varsity jackets and edgy yet chic makeup looks that give the girls a “girl crush” image with a “prom queen” vibe—an ode to their “The Prom Queens” first fan concert.

Dive, the name of IVE’s fandom, all raved for the girl group’s newest single.

If their B-side track is already this good, how else would IVE’s title track sound like? IVE’s concept is just too good to be ignored, honestly.
