‘Tudum’: Netflix’s 24-hour virtual fan event, named after its iconic sound ID, unveils new lineup

‘Tudum’ is not only synonymous with the excitement that one feels before watching anything Netflix–it has also become the name of the streaming giant’s most-awaited 24-hour virtual fan event where new releases and future line ups are unveiled for everyone to see and take note of! The free virtual event is a celebration of the Netflix fandom and has been created to share to its fans the latest news and updates on shows, films and specials within the Netflix universe.

This year, the global Tudum event, which was hosted and participated by Netflix talents and other celebrities, took place on September 24 and 25, 2022, where a number of notable reels and first looks were showcased via TikTok to present their upcoming titles.

At the Tudum event on this side of the world, hosts Choi Min-ho (co-stars of the upcoming series The Fabulous) and Cho Yi-hyun (All Of Us Are Dead) unveiled what’s in store for Asian viewers soon, such as:

In the series, Minho plays Ji Woo-min, a freelance photo editor established in his profession and known for his attractive appearance. However, he struggles with finding passion for his work. Things change when he encounters Pyo Ji-eun (played by Chae Soo-bin), a PR manager for luxury brands, and the two find themselves in a blossoming romance.

For all you fans who ship Moon Se-hoon and Shin Ji-yeon, here’s a sweet surprise. The duo who kept audiences on the edge of their seats with their bittersweet relationship reunited at Tudum for an Inferno Island tour to tease audiences on what’s to come in Season 2.

With a longer runtime of 10 episodes, Season 2 will see new hotties make the infamous deserted island their home in hopes of meeting their perfect match. Will there be any love stories coming out of the show that are #relationshipgoals? Only time will tell!
