NCT DREAM, KEY, Red Velvet, and more to visit Manila real soon

PH NCTzens, Shawols, and Reveluvs, are you ready to see your faves so soon?

This May and July 2022, NCT DREAM, KEY, and Red Velvet will be coming to Manila for two separate concerts; NCT DREAM and KEY for “Begin Again: KPOP Edition” on May 29, 2022, with other K-Pop groups Wei and ALICE, and Red Velvet for “BE YOU: The World Will Adjust” on July 22, 2022, alongside P-Pop acts BGYO, BINI, Lady Pipay, and more to be announced soon.

These pieces of news come days after each other in just a week, and the Philippine K-Pop community is (still) in a state of shock. The “Begin Again: KPOP Edition” will happen at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, while the “BE YOU: The World Will Adjust” will be at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

NCT DREAM will be headlining the “Begin Again: KPOP Edition” concert and is one of the first international artists to perform again in the country after 2 years. The sextet, back before the group’s graduation system was removed, was the last K-Pop act to hold their concert before the COVID-19 pandemic struck the country.

Red Velvet’s appearance as the frontrunner for the “BE YOU: The World Will Adjust” concert is their second time to step foot in Manila after 3 years since the “K-POP World Music Festival 2019”. In that concert, the five-member group appeared with fellow SM labelmate NCT 127, and other K-Pop acts like ELRIS, Kim Dong Han, and Sohee.

Filipino NCTzens, Shawols, Reveluvs, and other K-Pop stans were surprised to see that there would already be live concerts again and expressed their excitement, delight, and well, lack of money on Twitter.

Can’t wait to see top K-Pop acts back in the Philippines so soon!
