Recent criticisms against her revealing photo in a Vanity Fair shoot have left Beauty and the Beast actress Emma Watson quite confounded.
As part of her shoot with the magazine, fashion photographer Tim Walker captured an image of Watson wearing a white crocheted jacket — exposing parts of her breasts.

Apparently, her revealing pose did not sit well with some people in the social media because it was perceived to be in conflict with her advocacy on feminism.
One critic had this to tweet:

In a recent interview with Dan Stevens for Beauty and the Beast film premiere, Watson was asked what she thought about these comments regarding her Vanity Fair shoot.

The actress admitted that she finds it all very confusing.
“It just always reveals to me how many misconceptions and what a misunderstanding there is of what feminism is,” she shared in her interview.
Watson also clarified that “Feminism is about giving women choice. Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with. It’s about freedom, it’s about liberation, it’s about equality. I really don’t know what my tits have to do with it. It’s very confusing.”
“I’m always just kind of quietly stunned,” the actress added.
