T.O.P, Junsu make low-profile enlistments

In compliance with South Korea’s mandatory service for men, Big Bang’s T.O.P and JYJ’s Junsu joined the military on Thursday, February 9, 2017, KPop Herald reports.

The idols took to Instagram to greet fans as they enlisted.

JYJ’s Instagram update read: “Thank you for the love over the past 13 years, along with unforgettable memories, I decided to upload a picture of myself because I think I’d better say goodbye properly.”

Meanwhile, T.O.P apologized to his fans in a recent Instagram post that read, “I’m sorry but I really want it to be low-key. Please understand me even though I’m leaving without saying bye.”

T.O.P’s bandmate, G-DRAGON, also posted a photo of him with T.O.P on Wednesday evening with the caption “My brother.”

Fans had began waiting for their stars and posting banners in front of the Nonsan training camp from 5 in the morning.

T.O.P and Junsu will undergo four weeks of basic military training before being assigned to police agencies in Gyeonggi and Seoul.
