“Pampanga, are you ready to get painted?” So goes the battle cry of Raveolution — the Philippines’ most colorful music festival tour – as it brings its energy, music and a truckload of paint cannons and laser lights to the Angeles Music Festival this December 3. This is in partnership with the mastermind behind the AMF, Fly By Night Productions.
Raveolutionaries can expect an electrifying night with some of the country’s most popular DJs taking the deck: Pampanga’s Best: Kikoman and Benedict Pacia, and Manila’s Best: Patty Tiu, Marc Marasigan, Ron Poe, Travis Monsod, Katsy Lee, Everyday People, Marx Monterola, and Jet Boado together with MC Boo and Marga on the Mic.
Raveolution also brings its signature paint blasts, which transform the crowd into a neon rainbow of people who are truly “united in color.”
But it’s not just a wild paint party. “Raveolution is an expression of freedom, positivity and acceptance,” says Regina Reinoso, Managing Director of event company Super Awesome Productions. That message is even more powerful today. “2016 had so much hate speech. We want to end it celebrating what unites us. We may be different, we may disagree, but for one night let’s remember we are all one family.”
Since 2014, Raveolution has brought its unique mix of music, paint and positivity all over the country. In its 2015 Neon Utopia tour, it united more than 20,000 people in Davao, Bacolod and Manila. In 2016, it kicked off its Raveolution: Live Color, Love Music 2016-2017 tour in Davao for the Arcadia Electric Music Wonderland.
Now, Raveolution is ready to unite the North. “We are excited to bring the Raveolution experience to Pampanga, and we are happy to be working with Fly By Night in this endeavor” says Stephanie Moreno, President of Super Awesome Productions. “And don’t worry, our paint is washable and non-toxic! We also have lockers for rent at the venue” she adds.
The event will be held on December 3, at Nepo Center Park, Angeles. The tickets are priced at P350 for General Admission and P550 for VIP (until December 2). They can be bought at SM ticket outlets at the mall, or conveniently purchased at SM tickets online.
Tickets are also available at the following outlets: Petrol Store Marquee Mall and Newpoint Mall, Indu Clothing (Bartmall Bldg, in front of Holy Angel University), BLOW Vapor Lounge (150-A McArthur Highway), Harbor Gastro Point (The Quad), Sherlock Combs (in front of St. Scholastica Academy, San Fernando) and Noble Barbers and Reserve (Pitstop gas station, McArthur Highway); and official ticket resellers.
While festival-goers can buy tickets at the gate, they will be priced at P400 and P600. Gates open at 4pm.
