The University of the Philippines College of Architecture is commemorating its 60th Anniversary this year with its landmark event entitled UP Arki60 Diamond Jubilee Grand Homecoming, which will be held on December 2, 2016 at the Ang Bahay ng Alumni, U.P.Diliman, Quezon City.
UP Arki alumni, faculty and friends are invited to attend this celebration, which will be an excellent opportunity for fostering fellowship within the whole UP College of Architecture community, as they enjoy a night of reminiscing, live performances, dinner and fellowship.
The theme of the Diamond Jubilee is “UP Arki60: Educating the Next Generation Filipino Architects for the Filipino Nation”. In the pursuit of this greater goal of ensuring relevant and efficient architectural education for the future Filipino Architects, a UP Arki Development Fund (UPArkiDF) will be launched during the event. Established by the UP Arki60 Diamond Jubilee Committee, this legacy fund, which will be turned-over to the UP College of Architecture, is for the specific purpose of jointly addressing the much needed improvement of facilities and classrooms of the college.
