In celebration of Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines’ (KCC) 5th Anniversary this July, K-pop fans will have a full-day feast on all things Korean as the center brings “Happy Hallyu Day” and “Pinoy K-Pop Star” on July 23 at Skydome, SM City North EDSA.
The KCC was established in July 19, 2011 to complement the growing interest of the Filipinos in the Korean Wave or Hallyu. OH Choong-Suk, Director of KCC, noted that the continuous and growing interest of Filipinos in K-Pop inspired the center to create events specifically for them.
“I am happy to know that a lot of Filipinos are fascinated in Korean Culture and K-Pop. I hope that through these events more Filipinos would appreciate our Culture and K-pop,” OH said.
