Celebrate women leaders in the tech industry for Int’l Women’s Day

 

International Women’s Day is about to get more exciting.

Google Developer Group Philippines proudly presents Women Techmakers Manila 2016. After three successful runs, Women Techmakers Manila 2016 is set to bring 1000 strong Filipinas together in lieu of International Women’s Day. The whole day event will be filled with engaging presentations, codelab sessions, and networking opportunities. This year’s Women Techmakers will be held on March 19 at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University. The event is free and open to all.

 

Empowering Women

Women Techmakers aims to promote inclusivity for women in technology as well as to celebrate women leading in the industry. Presentations are focused on six major topics:

• Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) education

• Technology Industry
• Future Technology
• E-Commerce and Business

• Social Good
• Empowering Communities.

All presentation speakers are women who are distinguished leaders from their respective fields.

 

Code Labs

There will also be hands on code lab sessions that will advance the skill set of participants. Code lab session and facilitators include Firebase+Android, Polymer Visualization, Py- ladies, and Good Code.
