This Cardcaptor Sakura sequel will surely make you miss your childhood

It’s been almost two decades since we fell into the spell of hit anime series Cardcaptor Sakura. We followed this quirky and cute girl’s quest to recapture all the Clow Cards and have pretended to be just like her many times.

According to the anime’s official Twitter account, the sequel Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card will be aired on January and Sakura is all grown up!

Not only is Sakura a freshman in Tomoeda Middle School, she is also reunited with her boyfriend Syaoran, who just returned to Tomoeda. Her best friend, Tomoyo Daidouji and her protectors, Cerebrus and Yue, will also join her in the sequel.

Fans have expressed their excitement for the new arc. Most of them are even proud to admit that though they are in their late twenties now, they still love the anime.

Looks like we know what we will binge-watch during the holidays! *wink, wink*
