It’s a wish granted for Yaya Dub as Bryan White, the singer of the sensational KalyeSerye AlDub’s theme song, “God Gave Me You”, will be coming to Manila this December 1 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Maine Mendoza, popularly known as “Yaya Dub” and one-half of the phenomenal AlDub tandem, expressed in a tweet that she hopes to see Bryan White perform in Manila soon. The Grammy Award-winning American country music artist appreciated split-screen lovers Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza on Twitter for injecting “God Gave Me You” in the AlDub series. Bryan White shared with his fans that he is both humbled and honoured at the same time. In fact, just recently, Alden Richards serenaded Yaya Dub with “God Gave Me You”.

A series of video clips showing White speaking to his Filipino fans were also posted by avid AlDub supporters on Twitter. In the video, White thanked his Filipino fans and his followers from all across Asia. “I’ve been very excited about all that’s happening with ‘God Gave Me You,’” White said. He added, “I love the song so much… I just can’t believe how music travels and you just never know where it’s gonna end up and what’s gonna happen with it.” He promised to visit the Philippines very soon and mentions that he and his team are actually working on a Philippine tour. He concluded by saying, “We will definitely see you soon.”

Bryan White’s inclination to music started early in life, since he grew up in a musical family in Oklahoma. His musical mentor, Steve Wariner, made a significant impact on White. White mentions, “I immediately gravitated toward his tone and phrasing. I knew right then, at the age of fourteen, what I wanted to do with my life”. Just right out of high school, he packed up his drum sticks, guitar, aspirations, and the five hundred dollars from his family and went to Nashville to begin his career as a musician.

Bryan White is the artist/composer behind the hits “From This Moment On” (with Shania Twain), “So Much For Pretending”, and “I’m Not Supposed To Love You Anymore”. He charted seventeen singles on the Billboard’s Country Charts. To his credit are six number one singles, two platinum and golds, and several awards including a Grammy and an ACM Top Male Vocalist Award. He was also considered as one of People Magazine’s “50 most beautiful people”.

Bryan latest release “Shine” is now available on iTunes and in the Bryan White online store. White revealed when asked about what he hoped to accomplish in the record, that despite his accolades, he never forgets where he comes from. White says he has always been appreciative of what he has been rewarded throughout the years. Looking back on all his accomplishments, he is grateful now more than ever for all of the milestones in his career.

Filipino fans can now look forward to a night of “kilig” moments and romance as the singer-songwriter performs his much endeared love anthems come 1st of December, 8 pm at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Bryan White “God Gave Me You” Tour Live in Manila is presented by Concert Republic/ OctoArts Entertainment Inc.
