WATCH: P-pop group BGYO drops ‘Fly Away’ performance video

BGYO stans (known as ACEs) are in for a sweet treat as the breakout P-pop group BGYO dropped a new performance video for their track ‘Fly Away’ on February 11, Friday.

In the video, the five-member group—composed of Akira Morishita, JL Toreliza, Mikki Claver Jr., Nate Porcalla, and leader Gelo Rivera—performed on a stage, showing off their smooth and impressive dance moves.

‘Fly Away’ is the fourth track in BGYO’s debut album ‘The Light,’ which was first released on October 7, 2021. The song tackles learning to defeat their inner saboteur to reach their dreams and make them come true. ‘Fly Away’ is composed and written by BGYO’s very own member, Akira, with Theo Martel as the mixing engineer and arranger and Jett Galindo as the song’s mastering engineer.

BGYO is a five-member Filipino boy group under Star Magic that debuted on January 29, 2021, with their first single ‘The Light.’

The group has also released their other tracks, namely ‘The Baddest,’ which featured Liza Soberano, ‘He’s Into Her,’ the soundtrack of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano’s series of the same name, ‘Feel Good Pilipinas,’ in collaboration with KZ Tandingan, ‘Kulay,’ the song used in Miss Universe Philippines 2021, and ‘When I’m With You.’

BGYO also made waves in the international music scene, where they debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart on May 11 and were featured at the MTV Asia Spotlight for the months of October and November 2021, alongside their sister group BINI.
