SM Entertainment reveals Thai K-Pop star Ten’s new solo release

NCTzens, WayZenNies, and 10velys were all caught off guard when SM Entertainment suddenly dropped the news that Ten will be releasing a solo song as part of their digital music project, “SM Station”. This marks his 3rd release under the project, following his past releases “Dream in a Dream” in 2017 and “New Heroes” in 2018.

On August 3, 2021 at 12 M.N. KST, SM Entertainment posted details of Ten’s SM Station release on their official social media accounts. The Thai K-Pop star’s song is titled, “Paint Me Naked”, and will be released on August 10, 2021 at 6 P.M. KST.

In full support of their member’s solo release, WayV also posted about Ten’s solo song on their official social media accounts and even changed their layouts to his promotional images—in true WayV family fashion.

NCTzens, WayZenNies, and 10velys (Ten’s fandom name) were all surprised at this news and had a mixture of reactions to Ten’s solo release, but were mostly excited for more of Ten’s solo endeavors.

Ten’s styling and visuals in his promotional images even started a trend on K-Pop stan Twitter, using the hashtag “#Paint_Me_Naked” for fan edits of their favorite K-Pop stars.

Aside from his music and being part of NCT, WayV, and SuperM, Ten had most recently released a clothing collection with retailer Represent titled, “What Is ? ? ? The Answers”, which featured his original artworks that represented his growth and potential as an artist last June 2021.

Ten also broke the internet a few months ago thanks to his surprise dance collaboration with fellow Thai K-Pop star, BLACKPINK’s Lisa.
