Viral internet star Adam Perkins passed away on April 11, at age 24.
Before the era of TikTok, there was Vine where six seconds was all you needed to make an impact. In that time, Adam brought laughs to an entire generation with his iconic “Hi, welcome to Chili’s” Vine.
Along with his twin brother Patrick, the young comedian would go on to create more videos on the internet and make a name for himself. Adam was just in the early stages of his music career when his dream was tragically cut short.
Patrick Perkins paid tribute to his late brother on Instagram with a heartfelt message.
“Being a twin is a very central part of my identity. It’s all I’ve known. And I’m struggling to find the words to explain what it will be like for me to live in this world without him. My best friend.”
The social media team of Chili’s also acknowledged the loss of Adam Perkins on their official Twitter page.
We are saddened by the news of Adam Perkins passing. He brought laughter to so many of us and will always be remembered and cherished. Rest In Peace, Adam.https://t.co/Yx6u6JA0Ya
