Dress like Hello Kitty with this Animal Crossing and Sanrio collab

Get ready to make some room on your island because Animal Crossing: New Horizons is welcoming six new Sanrio-themed residents into the game.

Nintendo announced that they’ve collaborated with Sanrio to create adorable characters based on Hello Kitty, My Melody, Little Twin Stars Kiki and Lala, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, and Kerokerokeroppi. This is the first time for New Horizons to introduce another batch of residents.

In the roster are Rilla, Chelsea, Etoile, Marty, Chai, and Toby. They will be dressed in Sanrio inspired outfits, complete with home decor that players can keep for themselves as well.

The villagers can only be acquired with a limited edition set of amiibo cards sold exclusively at Target. Scanning these cards in-game will let players invite these residents to live on their islands.

Starting March 26, fans from the United States will be able to visit a branch near them and purchase a pack.

While amiibo cards are typically random, no need to worry about testing your chances with the Sanrio pack. It looks like all six characters come in a single pack so you won’t have to blow out extra cash.
