Latest on the list of controversial influencers are the duo Chuck and Joe, TikTokers who were recently called out for stealing condiments from restaurants.
In a now deleted video, the couple were seen smuggling extra servings of togarashi spice out of a Japanese restaurant. Their actions were highly criticized by not only internet users, but also the local dining industry for abusing the limited resources of the restaurant. People have also uncovered an Instagram story from them where they appear to be doing the same thing in Landers.

Since receiving backlash on their video, Chuck and Joe attempted to post an apology on their TikTok page. However, their followers and other users felt like they didn’t have any remorse for what they did. It seemed more like they were just trying to justify their content.

Resto PH, the association for restaurant owners in the country, released an official statement regarding the incident. The community condemned Chuck and Joe for posting such irresponsible content, especially on their impressionable audience. Resto PH brings up the point that influencers should never compromise their integrity just for the sake of views.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time they’ve been caught in the heat. A few months ago when the video of a police officer shooting an unarmed mother and son was circulating around the internet, Chuck posted a distasteful caption on a sponsored Instagram post.
So imbes na maging mabuting tao, mag @Sleepasil ka na lang so you can get better sleep because that’s much better than doing the right thing. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
