SPCP travels to the future with ‘Spectrum: Unraveling the wonders of tomorrow’

Explore through time as the Student Coordinating Team works hand in hand with the Fair Production Team 2021 to organize Spectrum, SPCP’s annual fair from January 25 to January 29, 2021.

This year’s event will be anticipating huge changes from the activities of the past school fairs, mainly the shift to using online platforms to adjust with quarantine measures. Spectrum 2021 will feature LAUNCH, the fair’s official opening program; RE: VITALIZE, a podcast series that will discuss different advocacies; SYNERGY, a collective of interactive games and activities; PARAGON, the official merchandise shop; and CYBERSPACE, the highlighted talent and variety show of Spectrum. This will all be launched during fair week in BLUEPRINT, Spectrum’s very own website. Jollibee, Globe, New Leaf Learning, and an individual who goes by the alias JCL will be the sponsors of this year’s annual fair, while INQUIRER.NET, WhenInManila.com, and Magic 89.9 have partnered up to be the event’s media partners.

“With the limitations posed by our current situation, we believe that this does not serve as a hindrance, rather a catalyst that aims to test the Paulinian creativity and persistence. As resourceful explorers, we are hopeful that through the community’s immense capabilities, we may be shown a vast horizon of possibilities that will allow us to execute a wonderful celebration in honor of our patron saint,” says Angelene Garcia, Student Coordinating Team Vice President.

Proceeds from the fair will go to Childhope Philippines’ KalyEskwela, a program which provides alternative learning education to street children through mobile vans. Childhope Philippines  is a non-government organization that upholds, protects, and promotes the welfare of children’s rights using direct programs and services. In-kind donations (Old books, school materials, etc.) are also accepted for Childhope Philippines’ KalyEskwela Program.

Donations may be delivered to:

1210 Peñafrancia St., Paco, Manila.

10:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday to Friday.
