UP ACES paves the Way Forward—with You

Nation-building needs you more than ever. With the busy roads and high-rise buildings dominating the face of progress and economic growth, it’s time to engineer our way forward. To establish resilience. Demand Accessibility. Maintain Distance. Call for change. It’s time.

The UP Association of Civil Engineering Students (UP ACES) realizes its advocacies to include aspiring Civil Engineers in shaping our nation. UP ACES is the oldest and most prestigious Civil Engineering organization founded in the University of the Philippines-Diliman, known for organizing the annual National Civil Engineering Summit as one of its biggest events.

This year, UP ACES invites you to hop on the train and join the five-day National Civil Engineering Webinar Series (NCEWS) for free. It is centered in nation-building amidst crisis, the engineering way. It will shed light on disaster preparedness, health and safety of the construction industry, social mobility and traffic management, and the pandemic’s impacts on environmental conditions. It will raise awareness, inspire, and empower the minds of the future engineers to lead the way forward.

Spearheaded by the UP ACES, NCEWS 2020 will pay forward and give back to the humble foundations of the construction industry—our construction workers. The proceeds of the event will be donated to the National Union of Building and Construction Workers to show support and help amid this calamity.
