Kang Daniel’s entertainment company reportedly on the verge of closing

With artists quitting or having already left the company, KONNECT Entertainment is on the verge of going out of business.

The artists of KONNECT Entertainment have all made the decision to depart from the company, according to an exclusive Star News report. Yuju, who began working for KONNECT Entertainment in September 2021, apparently left the company in mid-April. The dance team WE DEM BOYZ signed a contract with the company in November 2022, but they left after only a year, communicating their intention to end it in November 2023 and going through the necessary procedures. Chancellor, a singer and producer, has apparently also left the group.

In June 2019, Kang Daniel founded KONNECT Entertainment, where he currently holds the positions of CEO and artist. Still, a single person owns 70% of KONNECT Entertainment, making them the company’s majority owner. That person is being sued by Kang Daniel for a variety of offenses, including document falsification and embezzlement from the company.

According to reports, Kang Daniel will resign as CEO and terminate his contract with KONNECT Entertainment when it expires in early June.

As a result, KONNECT Entertainment will cease operations since all of its artists will have departed. Additionally, the company has only about 20 employees left, and its building in Gangnam’s Sinsa neighborhood has been completely vacated.
