Get ready to fall in love as PULP Live World brings you one of today’s most talented Korean stars. For the first time ever, Manila fans will have the chance to meet the charming and charismatic singer and actor Park Hyung Sik at the 2017 PARK HYUNG SIK FIRST LOVE IN MANILA, happening on November 11, 2017 at the KIA Theatre, Cubao!

Hyung Sik first entered the limelight as a member of South Korean boy group ZE:A, also known as Children of Empire. With Hyungsik as its main vocalist and visual (and also a part of its sub-unit ZE:A FIVE), ZE:A emerged in 2010 with their debut single album Nativity which features the catchy and captivating lead single “Mazeltov”. On the same day of its release, it topped Daum’s artist and album performance charts. Following their ground breaking debut, ZE:A went on to have a vast and rich catalogue through the years with two studio albums (Lovability and Spectacular), three more single albums (Leap For Detonation, Exciting, and Phoenix), two EPs (Illusion and First Homme, which features the single “Breathe”), and a compilation album (제국의아이들 (ZE:A) – Continue (Best Album))—all chock full of infectious, upbeat numbers and moving ballads.

Nowadays, Hyung Sik is more popular on television series, slowly but surely revealing himself to be a versatile actor through different roles. He has given life to the characters of the carefree and fun-loving Jo Myung Soo in The Heirs (2013), the uncertain Cha Dal Bong in What’s With This Family (2014), the wealthy heir Yoo Chang Soo in High Society (2015), and the king-turned-warrior Sam Maek Jong in period drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (2016), among others. Most recently, he became known as the haughty yet endearing CEO Ahn Min Hyuk in JBTC’s record-breaking and highest-rating series Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, a romantic comedy where he starred alongside actress Park Bo Young for his first lead role.

With the momentum of Hyung Sik’s acting career, he has been recognized by different bodies and networks through awards, such as the Best New Actor and the Best Couple Award (with Nam Ji Hyun) for What’s With This Family in 2014 at the 28th KBS Drama Awards. He also won an Excellence Award, along with the New Star Award, in the 23rd SBS Drama Awards in 2015 for High Society. With a couple other awards and nominations under his belt, Hyung Sik is indeed becoming one of Korea’s most stellar actors. He still keeps in touch with his musical side, however, by lending his voice to songs in the soundtracks of some of his dramas such as “I’ll Be Here” for Hwarang and “Because Of You” for Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.

In an interview with Yonhap News Agency earlier this year (in April 2017 after Strong Woman Do Bong Soon finished airing), Hyung Sik spoke about finding his identity as an actor. “I stumbled upon the question ‘Who am I’ when going through the mechanical motions as an idol musician. But later (through acting), the time came when I was able to seek my sense of inner self,” he said, adding that he learned the importance of “[maintaining] a sense of one’s self after passing through that phase in life.” He further added, “I think I’m in a stable phase now. My mind isn’t wandering any longer,” giving fans hope that there’s even more that they can look forward to in his flourishing acting career.

With Hyung Sik’s growing popularity, fans inside and outside Korea look forward to meeting him and soon, it will be his Filipino fans’ turn to meet the fatally charming and multi-talented star. Following his last fan meeting stop in Tokyo, Japan, Park Hyung Sik will be making his way to Manila for the 2017 PARK HYUNG SIK FIRST LOVE IN MANILA on November 11, 2017 at the KIA Theatre, Cubao. Gates will open at 5PM and show starts at 7:30PM. Tickets will go on sale on October 15, 2017 (10AM) and will be available at all TicketNet outlets and online (www.ticketnet.com.ph). Tickets are priced as follows: Php10,000 (Royalty – with Photo Op by group), Php8,000 (VIP – with raffle to Signed Posters), Php5,500 (Loge), and Php3,500 (Balcony). Ticketing charges apply.
