The Mall of Asia Skating Rink was filled with all things glowing with the launch of the Neon Ice Party last Saturday, June 9, 2018.
Co-presented by JBL Harman, the event started out with guests getting a taste of a new atmosphere of the venue brought by neon lights that illuminated the rink and its surroundings. Party-goers lined up to get their own glow skates and glided through the ice which had guest DJs – Dara Carmina and Carlo Atendido, spinning their mixes from a special DJ booth inside the rink.
Various activities were present inside the venue to entertain guests – Neon Air Hockey and Beer Pong tables were in place for those who would like to challenge their friends; Glow-in-the-dark face paints were available all night for those who would like to customize their look for the event; and an Instaroid booth was up for those who would like to get their own keepsake.

The event saw the attendance of local social media stars – Alexa Ilacad, EJ Nacion, Miguel Echano, Angel Dei, and Amara Ui, who all came in to experience the party on ice.
Familiar faces were also inside the rink as Philippine Ice Hockey Team Members, Philippine Figure Skaters, and Yuri on Ice! Skaters were present to take a break from their usual practice and routines and enjoy a new kind of leisure event of SM Skating.
