Japanese vocal brass unit CiON has unveiled the visuals for their 3rd single “Katsubo,” released today, June 3.

“Katsubo” serves as the ending theme song for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4, one of the world’s most popular ongoing anime franchises.
Since the anime premiered on April 3, the emotionally charged rock ballad has quickly captured attention among anime fans worldwide, with listeners praising its powerful vocals, cinematic arrangement, and emotionally resonant atmosphere. Following strong anticipation surrounding the track, the full-length version of “Katsubo” has now been released digitally ahead of the CD launch.
The newly released music video further highlights CiON’s signature fusion of dramatic live-band energy and emotional storytelling, showcasing the group’s evolving sound and performance style.
Alongside the music video reveal, CiON also unveiled all four CD editions of the single:
- Limited Edition A
- Limited Edition B
- Standard Edition A
- Standard Edition B
The limited editions feature visuals of the CiON members, while Standard Edition A includes newly illustrated artwork of Rimuru, and Standard Edition B features an original illustration of Mariabell, making the release a must-have for anime collectors and fans of the series.
Ahead of the single’s official release, CiON will also hold the final performance of their nationwide CiON BAND TOUR 2026 “Reincarnation” on June 2, one day before the CD launch.
With growing momentum across both anime and live music spaces, “Katsubo” has marked a major new chapter for CiON as the group continues to expand its presence to wider audiences this year.
