Filipino internet personality Kween Yasmin, whose real name is Yasmin Asistado, has been the talk of the internet—not for her usual humorous content, but due to a pregnancy announcement.
The personality has gone viral several times already because of her distinct and comedic videos that made people love her. However, her recent attention took a different turn.
On March 25, the content creator announced in a Facebook post that she is pregnant and her boyfriend, Elemer Villacura, is the father of her child. Asistado has been linked with several pregnancy rumors in the past but she was firm in denying it.
“Totoong buntis ako, three weeks ago pa lang. Ang ama [ay] si Elmer Declaro Villacura,” she confirmed. “Mahal, asawa ko, love you, mahal asawa ko. Nilalaban ko lang yung nilagay nilang ano sakin. Pero mahal na mahal ko pa rin sya. Tuloy pa din trabaho at kasiyahan.”
Negative result
Fans initially expressed excitement and congratulated the internet personality. However, the reaction quickly shifted when Asistado posted another update the following day, revealing that the pregnancy test result was negative.
“Kaka-PT lang ulit, negative na. Naging negative na ulit. Dahil sa stress sa galit sa kanya. Pero all goods naman na kami with mahal asawa ko Troy Tuyor,” she said in a post containing a picture of a pregnancy test.
What shocked netizens the most was her follow-up comment, where she claimed that her boyfriend allegedly forced her to take several medicines, which she said led to a miscarriage.
“Hindi naman po prank. Nung una positive po. Pangalawa negative na po. Negative na po, sa kanya. Wala ng buntis. Sad,” she expressed. “Nilaglag kasi nya yung baby namin. Tapos pinapainom pa nya ako na ibang gamot. Sunod-sunod.”
She said that despite the situation, she still loves her boyfriend. She also assured fans that she will visit an OB-Gyne to confirm and check her condition.
The alarming situation caught the attention not only of her fans but also of other netizens online. Many expressed concern, saying that her situation is no longer something to joke about and should be addressed urgently.
In a separate post, Asistado provided additional details about the coerced pregnancy termination.
“Kasi pinapainom niya ako ng sunod sunod ng gamot na hindi na tama dun sa binigay. Dapat isang beses lang, katulad na lang umaga, tanghali, gabi,” she said. “Troy Tuyor, mahal pa rin kita kaso nga lang bakit mo ginawa ipalaglag yung baby natin? Baby natin yun eh. Ikinakahiya mo ba na magkaroon tayo ng baby.”
She also said that she has already forgiven him and is willing to give him one last chance. However, she added that if the same situation happens again, she will no longer forgive him.
