Bruno Major officially wrapped up his Asia Tour 2024 with his second show in Manila last September 11 at the PICC Plenary Hall in Pasay.
Fans in their formal attire were greeted with a special treatâfree postcards from Major himself, which states the lyrics âThereâs no life without love they sayâ from his song âHome.â
With his guitar in hand, the singer kicked off the show with a dramatic performance of âThe Show Must Go Onâ and followed it with âLike Someone in Love.â
Major continued to capture the audienceâs attention as he sang crowd favorites âFair-Weather Friendâ and âWouldnât Mean a Thing.â
âThis is the last show of the whole fâing tour. Wouldnât be anything without you, Manila,â Major exclaimed.
Fans were engrossed in the melodies, holding onto every note and word as the act continued with âRegentâs Park,â âThe Most Beautiful Thing,â and the poignant songs âTell Herâ and âHome.â
Bruno Major went on to express his sincere gratitude to the Filipino supporters by letting everyone in the crowd know how âwelcomeâ he is every time he visits.
âIâve always felt very welcome here in the Philippines. I donât know why you love me here, but I want you to know Iâm extremely grateful. I donât take it for granted. Thank you so much for opening your heart to me and my music. I will do my best to return the favor. I love you very much,â Major said emotionally, to which the crowd responded with a cheer.
Proceeding with the set list, Major dazzled the audience by playing some of his songs on the piano such as âHigh Road,â âStrange Kind of Beautiful,â and âJust the Same.â
Unexpectedly, he stunned the crowd by performing âTapestry,â a song that wasnât originally on the setlist but was requested by a fan via an Instagram message.
He then returned to the main stage for one of the most anticipated performances of the night. Before he started singing âNothing,â he requested the crowd to turn on their flashlights, making a sea of lights. He said, âI love you, Manila,â before hitting the first note of the love song.
Before leaving the stage, Major played more songs for the audience: âColumbo,â a cover of âShakey Groundâ by The Temptations, and âWe Were Never Really Friends.â
The crowd then erupted in chants as Major left the stage, shouting âMore! More!â As expected, he came back for his encore set, singing âEasilyâ and ending the evening with âThe End.â
The singer thanked Filipino fans once again, with a promise of coming back. âThank you, thank you. I will come again!,â he stated.
The show certainly concluded Bruno Majorâs Asia Tour on a high note. It was more than just a concertâit was a powerful connection between him and his Filipino fans that only they can truly feel and understand.
