The La Salle Dance Company-Contemporary will dance Jazz to the beat of the heart of the Filipino on March 25, 2017, with “And-A-One!” the company’s 36th anniversary dance concert.
This show will delve into the realities of Filipino life and combine it with the beauty of jazz dance. “And-A-One!” will be the company’s take on dance—dance that changes, evolves, and ultimately becomes better. With imaginative choreography and direction for this production, La Salle Dance Company-Contemporary will be staying true to its dogma of being vessels of cultural realization through dance.
Featuring current members and alumni dancing with guidance and the meticulous, visionary choreography of Peter Alcedo, Jr., as well as with Airdance, UP Filipiniana Dance Group, and PILENTO as guests, the event will be a treat to watch.
“And-A-One!” will be held on March 25, 2017, with shows at 3 PM and 7 PM at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University-Manila.
