BTS Jimin is the first Korean soloist to reach 700 million streams on Spotify

ARMYs celebrate BTS Jimin’s newest milestone as he makes history as the first Korean solo artist to reach 700 million streams on Spotify.

Despite not yet having officially debuted as a soloist, the singer has already released a total of 4 solo songs from BTS’ past albums. These tracks include ‘Filter’ (from ‘Map of the Soul: 7’), ‘Lie’ (from ‘Wings’ album), ‘Serendipity (full-length edition),’ and ‘Intro: Serendipity.’

On Spotify’s February 12 data collection, it was shown that Jimin’s overall streams have finally reached the 700-million mark. With ‘Filter’ reaching more than 250 million streams; ‘Serendipity’ (full-length version) having 180 million; ‘Lie’ with 160 million; and ‘Intro: Serendipity’ accumulating 103 million; the total streams equate to 700 million.

Prior to this remarkable news, Jimin has also broke personal records among his group from these solo tracks of his:

The K-Pop icon’s solo song ‘Lie’ has the highest streams out of all solo songs from their ‘Wings’ album. It’s also the second most streamed song next to the album’s title track ‘Blood, Sweat, and Tears.’

Furthermore, his song ‘Filter’ was also chronicled as the biggest debut for a Korean solo artist on Spotify. It’s also the solo track that has the greatest number of streams on their album ‘Map of the Soul: 7.’

To collectively rejoice over the idol’s most recent achievement, ARMYs trended these tags in Twitter on that same day the news broke: SPOTIFY KING JIMIN, Congratulations Jimin, Park Jimin, etc.

We certainly can’t wait for Jimin’s official debut as a soloist!

When that solo debut comes, it’s safe to say that his music will become more known to K-Pop fans and is expected to reach a ton of achievements in the future.
