Linking up online in PSME Month 2020

To celebrate its founding, the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – UP Student Unit (PSME-UPSU)
hosts an annual series of events where students gather to foster strong relationships and learn more about
Mechanical Engineering and the field of STEM. This year, exciting developments have been made as PSME
Month shifts into the digital landscape.

With the organization’s 27th founding anniversary, it will be holding the 14th PSME Month titled, “LINKED: Connect the Nation. Assemble the Future”, on September 10 to October 11, 2020. The event aims to exhibit the significance of Mechanical Engineering and the important role it plays to unify diverse fields for the advancement of the nation towards a sustainable future. Here, you get to connect with the best and brightest in the industry as they showcase developments and the figures who spearhead this revolution.
PSME-UPSU is thrilled to present its lineup of events for PSME Month 2020 starting with its flagship event, the National Mechanical Engineers Students’ Convergence (NMESC). This will be a week-long series of webinars where students from around the country gather to listen, engage, and learn from experts in various fields of Mechanical Engineering. The organization will also be hosting an Esports tournament called PSME Cup which will be open to the different PSME Student Units across the country. Lastly, PSME-UPSU has launched the PSME Cares donation drive as it continues its mission in serving the community.

The organization encourages everyone to drop by and listen to NMESC 2020 as it is open to anyone with an interest in the field of Mechanical Engineering and technology. They are also accepting donations for PSME Cares as this will go a long way in helping their beneficiaries. For more information on their events don’t hesitate to visit PSME Month’s Facebook page.
