‘I yam potato boss’: Woman transforms herself into a potato during virtual meeting

Ever since the lockdown, many of us have been staying home, being a couch potato. But as it turns out, even the ones hard at work can become a bit of a spec-tater. (You see what we did there?) And that’s exactly what happened to Lizet Ocampo, the political director at People for the American Way, who turned herself into a potato during a video call—and then couldn’t figure out how to undo it again.

Rachele Clegg, one of Ocampo’s employees, immediately shared on Twitter a screengrab of her boss’s videocall mishap.

 

Since posting, the screenshot has been shared 846,000 times with people praising their team’s level of professionalism.

I want to congratulate her colleagues that could keep running this meeting under this situation. It would be impossible for me,” one Twitter user said. 

And just when you thought things couldn’t get any funnier, Microsoft Corporation decided to chime in the conversation.

Good thing, the boss was such a good sport about it and just laughed off her mistake. Well, that is some good leadership right there. 

 

For some people, technology can be confusing sometimes. As a matter of fact, this is not the first time that someone activated a wacky filter. Last week, an Italian priest accidentally turned on the video filters by mistake while conducting an online mass.
