Last March 21, news of Japanese voice actor Hiroshi Masuoka‘s death circulated the media. According to multiple reports, the actor passed away from rectal cancer at the age of 83.
The actor’s surviving family members and friends have since honored his wishes for a private funeral service.
Anime fans may be familiar with Masuoka’s body of work as he’s done the voices of characters like Jam Ojisan on Soreike! Anpanman and Geronimo Junior (005) on Cyborg 009.
He’s also the second voice actor to be Sazae-san (Master Roshi) in Dragon Ball GT.
